Art, Coffee, or Me? All of them ! It was a tempting day to visit the viral Salome Art Cafe and Bread where you can enjoy your ordered drink while drawing or painting on a paper cup for free! The best catch on their newly opened cafe located at Manila East Road, San Isidro Angono, Rizal near Baytown's KFC. I asked my friend vlana to come with me and spend the day making art and sipping coffee at Salome on the 30th day of December 2024, which is I thought the cafe will be closed since it is Rizal Day. But I cannot wait longer to go there since I love art and cafe drinks at the same time. I dressed up and take a jeepney ride, as I arrived I was so glad it's open so I waited for vlana to come down from Nieves Hills where she lives which is just beside the cafe. We opened the door and I noticed that there's only few people inside the cafe, not to wonder it's holiday and we've walked towards the counter to order our drinks and the barista who came to take our orders has the looks lol. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza on their pastry corner. We're kind of shy when we asked about the paper cups and grabbed the art materials which is also at the counter and walked upstairs. We put the materials down and took some quick pictures. After that we started to paint on our own paper cups but the first step to make as is inevitable; scroll on Pinterest for art inspo. I wanted to do a Beabadoobee art vibes so I painted muched apple with start in it using colorful pigments. Vlana admitted that she was not good at art but still she did her best to paint something justifiable. Our orders came and ofcourse, phone eats first so we took some pics before we took a sip on our drinks. The pizza has a chewy texture and my matcha latte tastes good. In the middle of the art session between us, we both felt palpitations, which is rare for me to happen, and Salome Cafe was the only cafe who has a drink that made me palpitate. I asked water from the barista because we can no longer endure it. That was though, I feel like I will never order a coffee from them when I visit next time. ☕
