a secret bar hidden inside a 7/11 ✨ the dark & chic ambiance is super nice (esp the gold bathroom!!) & even with the music you can still easily hear each other speak which is a plus for me 🙂‍↕️ the music could've been better tho (we went on a weeknight so that's prob why LMAO)

okay so the mix & mastered version of my song ended up growing on me after listening to it so many times 😅 and bec my family & friends told me the autotune isn't even noticeable, like it still sounds like me--just clearer and cleaner 🥹 the perfectionist in me can now rest HAHAHA omg i'm so excited to release a song on Spotify for the first time!! this has been on my bucketlist for YEARS 🥹🤍 imma just have a mini photoshoot for the cover art and my spotify artist profile before releasing it 🙂‍↕️

the first time i heard it i laughed bec of the amount of autotune that was added 😭 it's really good tho like it sounds cleaner, livelier & more professional 🥹 but yeah i'm gonna ask him to decrease the autotune to make it more natural-sounding and smooth. i don't wanna feel like a fraud 😮‍💨

sent my song to my musician/producer friend of mine to see how much mixing & mastering would cost. hopefully it won't cost too much 🤞🏻

okay so i kinda figured out how to clean up the vocals but i'm still unsatisfied. after hours of trial and error, i decided to message a friend of mine who does music. we'll see if he can clean it up and make it sound professional 🤞🏻

was not satisfied 🥲 i mean it's not bad but for some reason i'm finding it difficult to make a better version. the first draft i made was recorded last 2021 and it sounds good but you can kinda hear some background noise from the ac (i thought it was just gonna be a draft so i wasn't serious about it) 🫠 maybe i just need to learn how to clean it up hmm

finally bought a beat for the first time!! been contemplating for years about purchasing it (i wrote a song over this beat last 2021 🤠) and i finally decided to lock in this year since releasing a song on Spotify is one of my life goals 😌 this is just a draft tho. still thinking if i should record at an actual studio hmmm or just find a way to record here at home (my mic seems good enough but i'm not a pro at mixing & mastering 😅). will see what i can do!
